By completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will apply for most federal, state, and institutional scholarships, grants, and work study programs. Some state grant programs require a separate application which you can complete through the Eligibility Wizard. This single application will allow you to apply for multiple state programs. Please be aware of the individual application deadlines surrounding the state scholarship and grant programs.
Step 1: Complete the FAFSA after October 1, -1, for funding in academic year . The FAFSA must be filed on or before July 1, , to be considered for most state financial aid programs in Iowa.
